Who is responsible

WellnessSorted is the controller for the personal data described in this notice.
What we collect
Newsletter. If you join The Well Edit, we store your email address, the edition you chose, the wording and version of the consent you gave, the time, the section of the site you signed up from, and whether you are subscribed. We may store a shortened description of your browser and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address. We do not store your IP address with your subscription.
Find a Pro listings you send us. If you submit a listing, we store what you enter: your name, qualifications, specialty, regulator, license or registration number, NPI if given, years of experience, languages, practice description, headshot, practice name and number, address, email, phone numbers, booking link, website, LinkedIn, notes, and the wording and time of the consent you gave. We publish the listing fields shown on a live listing. We do not publish your notes.
Find a Pro listings compiled from public sources. For listings marked Unclaimed, we use information that the professional or their regulator has made public: name, profession, practice name, city and state or region, license or registration number, a link to the public register, and a short summary of their public website. We do not add a photo to an unclaimed listing.
Links to retailers. When you use a link to a retailer, we record the link, the edition, the time, the page on our site you came from, the retailer's web address, and a shortened description of your browser.
Security and hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs when you use a form, to check that a person is sending it.
Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 receives page measurements. If you reject them, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics script is not loaded.
How we use it
We use newsletter data to send the newsletter you asked for, and listing data to publish and maintain Find a Pro. We use link records and analytics to see which pages readers find useful. We use security and hosting data to keep the site working and safe.
The lawful basis for the newsletter and analytics is consent. The lawful basis for Find a Pro and for security is our legitimate interest in running an accurate directory and a safe website.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email), Cloudflare (form security) and, only if you accept analytics, Google (analytics). Published Find a Pro listings are visible to everyone.
We do not sell personal data.
Tracking across other websites
We do not allow advertising networks to collect information about your activity on this site. If you accept analytics, Google collects page measurements on this site, with advertising features and Google signals turned off.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a rejection of analytics cookies. We do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals, and analytics stays off unless you accept it.
How long
We keep a subscriber record while you are subscribed and after you unsubscribe, so we do not email you again unless you join once more. We keep a Find a Pro listing while it is published and remove it when it is withdrawn.
Where it goes
Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare, Vercel and Google may process data outside South Africa.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, ask us to remove a Find a Pro listing about you, or withdraw consent. Email privacy@wellnesssorted.com. We reply within 45 days. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email in one click.
Children
WellnessSorted is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice, we update the date at the top of the page. If a change is material, we also tell newsletter subscribers by email before it takes effect.
